Deep in the woods lived a Little Witch, her beloved cat and her mother, Old Witch. One day, the ailing Old Witch finds an Ogre caught in a trap and strikes a deal for saving him. As fate would have it, the Ogre becomes the Little Witch’s guardian and when she encounters the curious Hunter Boy near their new home, the Ogre’s appetite takes over. A poetic fable about difficult choices and the discovery of the powers that inhabits us all.
Ages 13 and up
Lily feels trapped. When a conflict between her best friend Brit and the guy she likes Karim breaks out after other students share racist, anti-Muslim memes, a misunderstanding leads to a school lock down. Lily finds herself right in the middle, forced to make hard choices about which friend’s truth she’s going to believe.
There will be a question and answer period with the actors and the possibility of a tour behind stage. If there is youth with special needs we can ask for a relaxed performance (not too dark, flexibility on moving around in the theater during the performance). Groups also have the possibility of booking a Sat Feb 9th performance (subject to availability) if that schedule works better. Tickets are limited so it is first come first served.
